dual boot Xp alongside the oem vista first installed

Many of the new users of the present branded computers like HP,may come across this problem i.e they got preinstalled vista in their pc's.If the vista is something like basic it will not of any use as though it is light,it take allmost equal ram with the premium versions.Aiso,many old games or programmes doesn't run on vista even if they run they are slow as half of the ram is eaten away by vista.And those with premium vista they find it colorful and their pc look beautiful with the new windows aero theme.
So,many want to install less resource hog and more powerful XP along with vista.But,windows doesn't allow older versions to install on it.

Now to install XP along side vista do as mentioned below.
1.)First thing is u should partition u'r harddisk as XP shoul be installed on different partition other than that containing vista.If u install in the same partition u may loose u'r vista.
2.)u can partition the hard disk by following steps.
right click on 'mycomputer'>manage>storage>diskmanagement
here u find the existing partitions,now right click on the largest partition and select "shrink volume".Then from the unallocated volume,right click on it and select make a new partition.And make a new partition.
3.)now install XP in to this partition be careful to select the correct partition.
after the installation u find only XP showing up at u'r boot menu and vista does'nt appear.
4.)ready u'r XP with all the drivers and updates.Besure to install a latest ".net framework".
5.)Now download a software callled "easyBCD v1.7.2".click here to download.
6.)intall this into u'r xp and start it.it ask u to to add new os,select the drive where vista was previously in and arrange the order.
7.)Thats it u'r set to use u'r vista and xp together.The next time u start u'r pc u cam=n find both vista and xp.

9.)after u made the recovery disk,boot u'r pc with this cd.recovery console opens and u can see th installed vista os,now go further and select "reapair start up problems".This will regenerate lost vista but u can't see u'r XP now.
10.)repeat the above mentioned steps in vista using "easyBCD 1.7.2" and set xp into boot load options.This will solve the,follow this only at the worst case of failing in the first procedure which generally doesn;t happen
